Lewis Hamilton topped the timesheets as practice began on Friday morning ahead of this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix. With McLaren team-mate Jenson Button second, Mercedes GP kept up the symmetry as Schumacher and Rosberg finished third and fourth after Adrian Sutil's Force India suffered a Turn 8 crash in the final three minutes.

Chandhok slowed by electrical problem
