Hamilton leads McLaren 1-2 in first practice

Lewis Hamilton topped the timesheets as practice began on Friday morning ahead of this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix. With McLaren team-mate Jenson Button second, Mercedes GP kept up the symmetry as Schumacher and Rosberg finished third and fourth after Adrian Sutil's Force India suffered a Turn 8 crash in the final three minutes.

Kubica puzzled by Safety Car regulations

New rear wing for Lotus in Turkey

The debutant Lotus team will be rolling out brand-new rear wings on the cars of Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen in Turkey this weekend. The update is one of several for Istanbul, with both mechanical and aerodynamic parts have been transported to the circuit.

McLaren: Red Bull can be beaten

Red Bull Racing can be overhauled this season, according to McLaren Managing Director Jonathan Neale. The Milton Keynes team has won half of the races so far this year, with its raw pace on the highly differing tracks of Spain and Monaco having caused concern amongst rivals.

Cosworth expecting Renault battle for 13th team
