Williams duo to start Hungarian GP from 10th and 12th on the grid
Sun, 08/01/2010 - 03:55In today’s qualifying session for the Hungarian GP, Nico Hulkenberg completed the afternoon in the top ten. After a strong start Rubens Barrichello, fell foul of the short lap distance which created a very busy Q2 session during which he was unable to find sufficient track space with which to extract the best from the option tyre. He will start from P12.

Toro Rosso happy to get both drivers into Q2
Sun, 08/01/2010 - 03:49The Scuderia Toro Rosso had a good day at the Hungaroring as both Sebastian Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari made it into Q2 of this afternoon's qualifying session. Buemi will start tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix from 15th on the grid, team mate Alguersuari from 17th.

Sixth for Rosberg as Schumi disappoints

Mixed day for Sauber at Budapest

Force India reasonably satisfied with Hungarian grid positions
Sun, 08/01/2010 - 03:23The Force India F1 Team will start tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix with Adrian Sutil in 13th position and Tonio Liuzzi in 16th following another tight qualifying session. Despite a challenging weekend Adrian was two tenths from a Q3 position and will line up alongside the Williams of Barrichello and behind reigning world champion Button for tomorrow's race.

Lotus disappointed with Hungarian qualifying

Vettel takes Hungarian pole with ease

Webber tops final Hungarian practice

Cypher group withdraws 2011 candidature

Only an electrical fault prevents Ferrari from having a perfect day

HRT proud of mileage and reliablity thus far

Under dry and sunny conditions, the drivers of Hispania Racing Bruno Senna and Sakon Yamamoto were in action and covered 58 laps between them in the morning and 65 more in the afternoon. In the first session, the Brazilian driver ended up 23rd with a best lap time of 1.26.990 and the Japanese driver finished 24th (1.28.157).

Busier Friday than normal for Renault

Both Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov did a lot of work and put down some very competitve lap times. The team will now make the last preparations for tomorrow's third free practice and, more importantly, the qualifying session.

Compound usage greatly affected by temperature at the Hungaroring

Vettel set a 1m 20.087secs lap time in the afternoon session. He was also fastest in the morning, using the medium compound Bridgestone Potenza.

Very busy day for Sauber at Hungaroring

In the afternoon the team tried several set-up changes without making any immediate progress. Now it is time to analyse the data. The race on Sunday at the Hungaroring will be the 300th Grand Prix entered by Peter Sauber’s team.

A reasonable day for Lotus although hydraulic problems affect Kovalainen

Red Bull dominates first free practice at Budapest
