Kobayashi gets five-place grid penalty

Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi was handed a five-place grid penalty for tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix as he ignored a call to go into the FIA garage during qualifying. Kobayashi was called in by the stewards to be weighed after the end of Q2, but he did not see the red light at the pitlane entry and drove towards his team's garage. Due to the penalty, Kobayashi will start from 23rd on the grid.

Both Bruno Senna’s and Sakon Yamamoto’s cars performed reliably and also managed to run faster than in the morning session. Bruno Senna will start tomorrow’s race from 23rd position after clocking a best lap time of 1.26.391 and Sakon Yamamoto will start just behind him in 24th position (1.26.453).
